1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of naata.in (the "Site"), operated by Naata Threads ("Naata", "we", "us"). By browsing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility & account registration

You must be at least 18 years old, or using the Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to place an order. We authenticate accounts using a one-time password sent to your mobile number, or a sign-in link sent to your email address — we never ask for or store a account password. You are responsible for keeping access to your registered phone number or email secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.

3. Products, pricing & descriptions

Every saree on Naata is handwoven by artisans, so minor variations in weave, texture, colour, or finish between what you see on screen and the piece you receive are part of the handmade character of the product, not a defect. We try to display colours as accurately as possible, but screen and lighting differences can affect how a colour appears.

Prices, discounts, and availability shown on the Site are subject to change without notice and may vary by promotion. In the rare case a product is mispriced or listed in error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund, even after the order has been confirmed.

4. Orders & payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we may accept or decline (for example, if we suspect fraud, if stock runs out after you order, or if there was a pricing error). Payments are processed through Razorpay, our third-party payment gateway; we do not receive or store your full card, UPI, or net-banking credentials — Razorpay handles that directly under its own security standards.

5. Shipping, returns & cancellations

Delivery timelines and shipping charges are set out in our Shipping Policy. Our return, cancellation, and refund eligibility is set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy — both form part of these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

All text, photography, graphics, logos, and the Naata name and branding on this Site belong to Naata Threads or our artisan partners and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them commercially without our prior written permission.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account;
• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract content or pricing from the Site;
• Interfere with the security or normal operation of the Site.

8. Third-party links & services

The Site may link to, or rely on, third-party services (for example WhatsApp, Instagram, our payment gateway, or courier partners). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Naata Threads is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or a purchase made through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra.
